McCourty, Morgan & Casey Cap Week of Titans Caravan after Wright, Hunter Greet Fans

Posted May 17, 2014

Jason McCourty, Derrick Morgan and Jurrell Casey capped six days of touring through three states on the Academy Sports + Outdoors Titans Caravan a day after Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter hit the road.

Young and talented offensive players highlighted the Academy Sports %2B Outdoors Titans Caravan with three public appearances Friday, and three key defenders closed the week-long goodwill trek with three stops Saturday.

Receivers Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter visited Academy Sports %2B Outdoors stores in Chattanooga and Knoxville before a packed house at Kroger in Cookeville capped a full day of travels. The middle stop marked the return of Hunter to where he starred collegiately for the University of Tennessee.

Fans were able to take pictures with and get autographs from Wright, Tennessee’s first-round pick in 2012 who led the Titans with 94 receptions for 1,079 yards in 2013, and Hunter, a second-rounder a year ago who made several splash plays for the Titans as a rookie, including a game-winning touchdown catch against the Chargers in Tennessee’s 2013 home opener.

Cornerback Jason McCourty, linebacker/defensive end Derrick Morgan and defensive lineman Jurrell Casey followed a day later by touring Middle Tennessee. The defensive trio opened Saturday at a Kroger in Franklin, made their way to Academy Sports + Outdoors in Smyrna and wrapped up at the Kroger in Mt. Juliet.

The six days of the 16th Titans Caravan featured a total of 16 stops by 13 players, as well as new Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt, who visited Kroger locations in Bowling Green, Ky., and White House and Academy Sports %2B Outdoors in Madison Thursday.

Jake Locker, Andy Levitre and Akeem Ayers visited Shoe Carnival in Paducah, Ky., Kroger in Hopkinsville, Ky., and Academy Sports %2B Outdoors in Clarksville on Wednesday.

Michael Griffin, Delanie Walker and Dexter McCluster visited West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex in Jackson and Academy Sports %2B Outdoors in Collierville on Tuesday, and Chance Warmack and Brian Schwenke opened the festivities Monday with visits to Buffalo Wild Wings in Florence, Ala., and Academy Sports %2B Outdoors in Madison, Ala.

There will be one additional stop by the Caravan of a unique nature: an appearance in Johnson City on June 13 in connection with cornerback Coty Sensabaugh’s football camp weekend.  Sensabaugh, safety Daimion Stafford and quarterback Tyler Wilson will make a public visit at Logan’s Roadhouse starting at 4 p.m. ET.
