Hospital Visits

Titans players visit patients at Saint Thomas Hospitals each Tuesday during football season.

“Titans Tuesdays” is a long-standing community initiative of the team in which players and staff spend a part of their only day off during the weeks of the season to reach out to others at Saint Thomas Hospitals as a means of saying “thank you” for the tremendous support the club receives throughout the season.

Players visit with hospital patients receiving care ranging from minor ailments to those receiving chemotherapy treatment for cancer, and patients who are receiving treatment for heart ailments or heart surgery to families that have or are about to welcome a new baby to the family!

"The players provide a unique experience for our patients while they are in our hospitals whether they are celebrating a birth with proud parents or boosting the spirits of our sick patients and their families," said Jeff Cook, Director of Legal, Saint Thomas Health.

"We value our long-standing partnership with the Titans organization. The players have created invaluable experiences for our patients and associates," said Dr. Mike Schatzlein, President and CEO of Saint Thomas Health.
