Titans Sign CB Marc Anthony, Waive WR Josh Stewart

Posted Jun 4, 2014

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with CB Marc Anthony and waived (injured) WR Josh Stewart, the team announced Wednesday.

Anthony (5-foot-11, 196 pounds) entered the NFL last year as a seventh-round selection (247th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens. He was waived at the final training camp cut and joined the Tampa Bay practice squad, where he spent the entire 2013 season.

Anthony spent the first five months of the 2014 calendar with the Buccaneers before being cut last week. Anthony was a three-year starter (32 starts) at cornerback at California, where he tallied 138 tackles, five interceptions, 21 passes defensed and 13 tackles for loss during his college career.
