Biography

PRO: The Titans added Dontay Moch from their practice squad to the active roster on Nov. 25, 2014 to provide depth on special teams and at outside linebacker.  The 6-foot-2-inch, 257-pounder entered the NFL as a third-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2011 and has also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
•    Moch was a decorated high school track athlete.  He captured the Arizona state title in the 200-meter dash event twice, including at the 2005 5A State meet with a personal-record time of 21.8 seconds.  One year later at the same 5A State Meet, he took gold in the 100-meter dash event, recording a personal-best time of 10.77 seconds.  He also ran the lead leg on the Hamilton 4x100m relay squad, helping them win the state title with a time of 41.89 seconds.

•     The Chandler, Ariz., native was originally selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round (66th overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft.
•     Released by the Bengals on Aug. 31, 2013.

•     Played four seasons (2007-10) at Nevada and saw action in 53 games with 39 starts, including starts in 39 of 40 over final three seasons.
•     His 63 tackles-for-loss shattered former Western Athletic Conference record of 50.5, and his 30 sacks ranked second in WAC annals, just one short of record.  His school-record nine career forced fumbles ranked third in WAC history.
•     As senior in 2010, helped lead Wolf Pack to No. 11 AP final ranking and 13-1 record.  Was credited with 8.5 sacks, and broke his own school record with 22 tackles for loss, tied for most in WAC history.
•     As junior in 2009, became first Nevada player to win WAC Defensive Player of the Year.
•     Was redshirted in 2006.
