PRO: The Titans signed Will Poehls as a rookie free agent on May 16, 2014 to provide competition at the offensive tackle position.  The 6-foot-8-inch, 334-pounder is a physical lineman who is capable of playing both tackle spots.  The Montana product spent his entire rookie campaign on the Titans’ practice squad.

TITANS TIDBITS:  
•    Poehls enjoys playing the guitar and singing in his free time.  He won an athlete talent show at the University of Montana with a rendition of Amazing Grace.
•    Poehls grandfather, Bill Poehls, fought in World War II and the Korean War.
•    The Poehls family won a July 4th singing competition in Lake Montezuma, Ariz.

•    A native of Chandler, Ariz., Poehls was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 16, 2014.
•    Waived by the Titans on Aug. 30, 2014 and signed to the team’s practice squad a day later.
•    Signed by the Titans to a future contract on Dec. 29, 2014.

COLLEGE:
•    Was a two-year starter who played in 45 career games with 27 starts at Montana.
•    As a senior (2013), started in all 13 games for the 10-3 Grizzlies at right guard and was a second team All-Big Sky Conference selection.
•    As a junior (2012), started in all 11 games at right guard.
•    As a sophomore (2011), played in all 14 games and started in two (at Tennessee and versus Cal Poly).
•    As a freshman (2010), played as a reserve.
•    Majored in sociology at Montana.

PERSONAL:  
•    Married to Caylin and the couple splits time between Nashville and Chandler, Ariz.
•    Attended Chandler (Ariz.) High School and earned three letters in both football and wrestling and was a team captain in both sports.
•    Was a 5A first-team All-State and All-Region selection as a senior and All-Region as a junior.
•    Had a record of 16-2 as a heavyweight wrestler his junior season.
•    His last name is pronounced “Pales.”
•    Born William Robert Poehls on Nov. 27, 1991 in Chandler, Ariz.
