    The NFL will celebrate its brightest stars of today and tomorrow with new Pro Bowl week festivities in 2017 in Orlando.

    Culminating with the 2017 Pro Bowl game at Camping World Stadium on Sunday, January 29 and televised live at 7 PM CT on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, Pro Bowl week will celebrate all levels of football -- from youth to high school to the NFL's best.

    The 2017 Pro Bowl will feature a return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC game format following three years using a revised, "unconferenced" format. The NFL's best will once again be in the spotlight as 88 players -- 44 from the AFC and 44 from the NFC -- are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches.

Jon Salge
College Scout

Biography

Jon Salge enters his 11th season with the Titans and seventh as a college scout in 2016. He is responsible for scouting players in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Prior to his current position, he spent two seasons as a pro personnel assistant, evaluating players from the various professional football leagues, peforming duties related to tracking and signing free agents. Additionally, he served as one of the team’s advance scouts for upcoming opponents. He spent his first season with the Titans helping with the preparation of the college draft board, college and pro point of attack tapes and management of the pro scouting database. Salge has been an official timer for the three-cone drill at the NFL Scouting Combine each of the past six years.

In 2007, Salge was selected to attend the first annual NFL Football Operations Career Development Symposium. Before joining the Titans full-time, he was a personnel assistant with the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sport Management, Salge served as an intern in the school’s football recruiting department prior to completing his studies. He later obtained his Master's degree in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he and his wife, Sara, have two sons - Evan and Tyler - and reside in Thompson Station.
