    The 2017 Pro Bowl will feature a return to the traditional AFC vs. NFC game format following three years using a revised, "unconferenced" format. Biography

Marv Sunderland enters his ninth season with the Titans and 40th year in the NFL in 2016. He is responsible for scouting the western region of the United States for the Titans.

Sunderland came to Tennessee after his second stint with the New York Jets, where he scouted the Northern United States for two seasons. From 1998-2002, Sunderland was the Director of Player Personnel for the New York Giants and aided a team that reached Super Bowl XXXV in 2000. He spent 20 years (1979-98) with the Jets as a scout after serving three seasons (1976-78) with the New England Patriots as a personnel assistant. He returned to the Jets from 2003-04.

Before coming to the NFL, Sunderland was an assistant coach for North Dakota State for five seasons, including an undefeated season in 1970.

As a player, he was a three-time All-Conference fullback at Northern Montana before trying out for the New Orleans Saints in 1967 and signing with the Calgary Stampeders in 1968.

Married to Charlotte, his son, Brock, is the Assistant GM for the Ottawa Red Blacks football team in Canada. He is a proud grandfather, whose daughter, Shay, lives in Amsterdam, Holland with her husband.
