For the fourteenth consecutive year, the top kicker in the state will be recognized with a Mr. Football Award, regardless of classification.

Russ Hudson
Director of Information Systems


Russ Hudson is in his 16th season with the Titans as Director of Information Systems in 2015.

Hudson is responsible for managing the organization's state-of-the-art computer and telecommunication systems. He works closely with Titans coaches on game analysis reports and with GM Ruston Webster and his scouts on NFL Draft reports, in addition to making general upgrades on the network and computer systems both at Baptist Sports Park and LP Field. On game days, he oversees a staff of statisticians that call the official game stats reported to the league office.

During the 2012 offseason, Hudson played an integral role as project manager for major improvements at LP Field which included the installation of the largest outdoor surface mounted LED video boards in the world. The project also included upgrading to an HD video control room and a distributed sound system throughout LP Field.

Prior to joining the Titans, Hudson was a network engineer/project manager for Cottonwood Computer Services for three years. During that time, he also consulted the Titans on various computer and technical issues.

A native of Decherd, Tenn., Hudson graduated summa cum laude with a degree in computer science from Middle Tennessee State University. He and his wife, Amy, have two children: Ethan (11) and Haley (9). They reside in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
